| BabyBeat Fetal Doppler Rental AgreementFetal Doppler Monitors are regulated by the FDA and require a physicians approval. User agrees to consult a medical professional before using a fetal Doppler.
The rental amount, as stated on order form and included with your baby doppler, will be charged to the credit card given. The initial charge will be made the day which the doppler is shipped and every month thereafter. The rental fee includes all taxes. Shipping charges will be charged with the first month's rental. Charges will continue to be incurred each month until the doppler monitor is returned. When returning the doppler, please contact us and charges will be held for 7 days past the bill date. Rental fees are not pro-rated. All rental fees from current rental apply toward purchase of the unit!
If you do not return the BabyBeat fetal heartbeat Doppler or pay rental fee:
This fetal doppler is rented under Colorado State Law that states that rental equipment not returned within seventy-two (72) hours of stated time will be subject to prosecution for theft. Therefore, if this unit is not paid for or returned within 7 days of the bill date, it will be considered stolen.
COLORADO STATE LAW CONCERNING THEFT OF RENTAL PROPERTY. C.R.S. 73 18-4-402 as amended by HB 1203 (1975):
18-4-402. Theft of rental property: A person commits theft of rental property if he lawfully obtained possession for temporary use of the property and fails to return said property to the owner within seventy-two hours after the time at which he agreed to return it. Theft of rental property is a CLASS 6 FELONY where the value of the property involved is more than five hundred dollars ($500).
Warranty:
During the rental period, BabyBeat warrants that the home Doppler will perform to standard specifications. BabyBeat will replace any unit that fails during the rental period. If the doppler is damaged by misuse, neglect or accident, the customer assumes full liability for repair costs. If the doppler is lost, stolen or destroyed, the customer will be charged the full purchase price of the unit.
